Institute of Community Inquiry
Institute for Community Inquiry (ICI) is a participatory art project by Eugenio Salas and Alessandra Renzi. ICI employed the remixing of media as a tool to provide alternative ways of making, consuming, and circulating artistic experiences by building a polyphonic base fordialogue and community memory in the aftermath of the collective trauma resulting from the G8/G20 protests in Toronto in June 2010.

The Institute for Community Inquiry was presented at the Centre for Incidental Activisms at the Art Gallery of York University in 2011, which was awarded the best Public Program by the Ontario Association of Art Galleries (OAAG).
The Institute for Community Inquiry was curated by Emelie Chhangur and Philip Monk, assisted by Suzanne Carte and Michael Maranda and, supported by Ontario Arts Council.
